
Teams for Prevention and Response to Critical Incidents
UNI has organized several teams to quickly and effectively evaluate issues and respond to those incidents as appropriate.
Threat Assessment Team
The Threat Assessment Team responds to situations such as threats or acts of violence, natural or man-made disasters and critical incidents occurring within or near the university community.
Student Intervention Team
The Student Intervention Team (SIT) for students is a team of university professionals that meets routinely to review, discuss and coordinate an appropriate response to students exhibiting inappropriate behaviors, suicidal thoughts or attempts, or other mental health issues.
Bias Response Team
The purpose of the Bias Response Team is to coordinate the University’s response to bias-related incidents that affect the campus community.
